Restoration completed

Not my best handywork... But this should prevent further damage.

I tried to reinforce the damage before giving the new layer... And the fabric disintegrates to my horror.

Added just one strip of fabric and it covers too much cross stitch pattern, as the left damage is bigger than the right one. After i finished the left one, i saw that the damage on the right part is going to get worse soon... So i'd better reinforce slightly below the seam of the shawl.

If you see it from afar, it may not be noticable. But if you touch it, and see it close (like 50 cm, you can already see that it is new fabric seam.

Oh well, i dont know what better way to fix this.

Restoration - cross stitch shawl

My aunt asked me to fix her old cross stitch shawl, which i think made in east europe or arabian area as the pattern looks that way.

Damn, this thing is so fragile. The fabric crumbles on my fingers and i dont know how to do it further without damaging this thing.

New babies!

I purchased seeds 2 days ago and it arrived at my office today. I am basically thrilled and decided not to go back to my hometown this week, i'll just do some gardening week (again) and have fun.

Here's my babies:

So, i have:
Oregano
Lemon basil
Rosemary
Corriander
Kailan
Pak choy
Lettuce (romaine?)
Parsley
Cabbage (?)
Spinach

That's quite a lot, right?

Well, i bought them for a cheap price, as i bought it not as much as the original packing. Not bad i think, compared if i have to buy the original pack... It cost me like 50-80 times than this. And i dont have that much garden in the first place :)

So i planted them on egg shells as planters. After they grow, i'll move them to my recycled bottles farm.

Look forward for my updates!
